There is a non-refundable registration fee for each athlete on the team of $20.00. Or, the team may opt to pay a sitting fee of $340. This sitting fee includes the photography of 1 portrait pose, chosen by the athlete at the time of the shoot, and the poses used for building the team composite. Each player and coach will receive one 5×7 team print.
The team will decide which background they would like for the team photo and which background/template will be used for individual portraits. Completed portraits will be added to an online gallery for ordering prints and products.
The sitting fee is necessary to be able to offer this service at an affordable price for parents and to be able to turn the orders around in a timely fashion.
For a much broader range of options including posing, lighting, backgrounds/traditional portraits, etc., individual in-studio photoshoots can be booked here.
At your Arena: I will come to your arena and photograph your team, one athlete at time, and build a composite team photo from the images taken. All team members must be registered prior to the shoot. Each child will take approximately 2-3 minutes to photograph.
In Studio: If your team would prefer to do the shoot in the studio, the team manager or representative should decide on two dates for appointments.
I would love to be able to photograph teams at no cost, however it is not a feasible process. Because of the time and energy that goes into photographing and then creating the images for teams of typically 15-17 athletes, the organization, ordering, overhead costs, travel, etc., it is necessary to charge a minimal fee.
Ideally teams should make arrangements for photography at least two weeks in advance to allow time for registration, communication, planning, etc. Having lots of time will make the whole process run smoothly.
For hockey, full gear including skates except helmet. Neck guard is optional. Gloves are needed as well.
You can, however it would be best if they have their gear on prior to coming in. There is a cushioned floor in the studio so skate guards can be removed for the photos.
There is hand sanitizer located throughout the studio.
During shooting, the athlete will remove their mask and then replace it after we are finished. I will be 8-10 feet away from them while photographing, and will be wearing a mask at all times.
The short answer is no. Packages are designed for one pose and the prints in each package are structured so that I select the package ordered and drop the photo in, which populates each item in the package with that photo.
The reason credits are for prints and print packages only is due to production costs. Products such as trading cards, bag tags, mugs, etc., are too costly to produce.
It can take anywhere from 3 weeks to a month to receive your order once it has been placed. This is due to the amount of time needed for proofing, ordering, editing, lab production, and shipping. Sometimes – on rare occasions – the stars align and it only takes 2 weeks.
